What Were We Really Doing Aboard the U.S.S. Little Rock CLG 4 / CG 4?

Did you ever wonder what some of your shipmates did aboard the Little Rock?  Did you ever wonder what YOU were supposed to be doing?   The definitions on the pages listed below provide an abbreviate job description for each of the ratings that were in effect in 1959.

If you had a rating that does not show up on the list and if you had that rating aboard the Little Rock, we would like you to bring it to our attention so we can add it.

If you want to elaborate on the job description, please send us the additional details and it will be included with the description provided by the Bluejackets' Manual.

Marines....!!!  We'd especially like to add your job descriptions to these lists. Please give us a synopsis of what "job" you filled while attached to the Little Rock,

Send your correspondence to either Woody Donaldson or Art Tilley.
