| It is our
hope that this section
of the USS Little Rock Association website will trigger memories, and
hope- fully some comments, of what was not only an important part of
the U.S. Navy's Gaeta community, but more specifically what was a part
of
the USS Little Rock community while Flagship of the Sixth
Fleet. We recognize that in addition to serving families of personnel attached to Naval Support Facility, Gaeta and USS Little Rock CLG 4 / CG 4, the Joshua Barney School also served the families of crew attached to other flagships of the US Sixth Fleet in the years between September 1967 and June 2008. Those ships are: USS Springfield CLG 7, USS Albany CG 10, USS Puget Sound AD 38, USS Coronado AGF 11, USS Belknap CG 26, USS La Salle AGF 3 and USS Mount Whitney LCC 20 / JCC 20. |
