CDR ROBERTO C. DUMLAO
UNITED STATES NAVY

Roberto “Rob” Dumlao is from Seoul, Korea and immigrated to Chicago, IL in 1980. He was commissioned through Officer Candidate School in 1999. He holds a BS in Industrial Technology from Northern Illinois University. He has earned a Masters Degree in National Security Affairs (Far East) from Naval Postgraduate School. CDR Dumlao is a Joint Qualified Officer.

CDR Dumlao has served aboard USS GERMANTOWN (LSD 42) as the Communications Officer; USS GARY (FFG 51) as the Assistant Chief Engineer; USS PEARL HARBOR (LSD 52) as the Chief Engineer; USS TARAWA (LHA 1) as the First Lieutenant; USEUCOM J3 as Action Officer (GSA Orders); and OPNAV N095 Chief of Navy Reserve as the Flag Secretary. His most recent assignment was with Special Operations Command Korea J5 as the Maritime Planner.

He has been awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), and the Navy Achievement Medal, along with other unit and service awards.

CDR Bush is currently serving as the Commanding Officer of LITTLE ROCK GOLD (LCS CREW 115).
