This photo was obtained from the collection of USS Little Rock Captain Frederic A. Chenault. The photo was not identified as to date, location, or event. It would appear that this is an "All Hands" event, although it would not seem to be just a Personnel Inspection. Note that the top of the 6" turret has been set up to accommo- date a podium and guests. If you have any knowledge of this event, contact the Webmaster. |

On Memorial Day 1969 LITTLE ROCK personnel participated in a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the American Cemetery in Anzio, Italy. Navy Wives Club members Madge Hopple (left), wife of GYSGT Ronald Hopple, and Betty Swing (right), wife of MMC K.T. Swing performed the wreath laying. Marines (left to right) are Sgt D. W.
